ROME, ITALY
(Yup, we are in Roma!)
- We tried this pizza place for lunch recommended by Anthony Bourdain at Pizzarium ; Via della Meloria, 4300136 Roma, Italy. This Pizza place is SO GOOD.
- For dinner, we went to Trattoria Vecchia Roma, as recommended by Anthony Bourdain again but It was not so impressive. The food was so so and generally good. The service was good but it has become too touristy since Anthony Bourdain visited.
- For our second day in Roma, we had lunch at our hotel, ROCCO FORTE HOTEL DE RUSSIE. Pasta was very good. I don't think we can have a bad pasta anywhere in Italy.
- For our second night, we had one of the best dinner on the trip at an old local restaurant that was the first inventor of Artichokes Brick. It was AMAZING food. Every dish was delicious. You must try their artichoke brick(Hot brick method). We had 2 dishes. One was not enough. It is Ristorante Evangelista at Via delle Zoccolette, 11/A

This town is very pretty. We only stop by for 1 hour to take photos. In some local houses, you can actually go up to their rooftop and take a good view of the whole town :)

Locorotondo BA, Italy
We just love this town because it is peaceful and we were here in July. There were not so touristy. There are very pretty white architecture everywhere, clean and quiet...
We walked to the back of the town and found stone stairs to this beautiful local farms.
If we have more time, we would love to stay in this town. It is very quiet and not touristy.

OSTUNI, BR, ITALY...This town is magical...hills...stone...historical building...
We stayed at the farmhouse, Masseria Salinola Hotel. This hotel is very lovely, peaceful and with a nice rural touch and organic farm food. Restaurant at Masseria Salinola Hotel was very good. They served their home cooking farm products and meals. It was delicious with the very good red wine from the neighbors.

Gallipoli, Italy
We arrived Gallipoli in the evening and had dinner.
This town is so beautiful and lively at night. There were a lot of local wine bars along the water front in old town.
We had an amazing dinner at Il Bastione.
The seafood there was so fresh and simply delish. The best dish we had there was this thin sliced octopus with a bit of olive oil and tomato. Fantastic!

We had one of our best lunch meals of our trip at Ristorante Dal Baffo
All pasta dishes we ordered were AMAZING home made fresh..even though the portion was small. We should have order 2 of each!

It is pretty local and not tourity. Food was very decent and simple.
Bernardi got really good Gelato and Cookies :)
At night we accidentally saw a line of locals at a pizza place. They came out with deep fried brown thing. We thought we MUST get it. So, we tried. This fried pizza pocket really made our trip to Brindisi worthwhile :)
