A weekend in Ottawa, Canada

Arrive Saturday morning and leaving on Monday around noon.

Saturday List of things to do :)

• Check in at Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel. This photo below I took from the bridge next to Fairmont hotel, which was on the right hand side. 

• Visit Parliament Hill and walk along Albert Street (There are lot of shops, bars and restaurants on this street)

• Have lunch at Lowertown Brewery. We ordered the brisket sandwiches and house brew beer. It was SO good. Highly recommended!

• Get dessert/sweet treat at http://www.beavertails.com/ We ordered original cinnamon sugar. It was so yummy!

• Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica and National Gallery of Canada

• Walk along the water to see Rideau Falls (2 waterfalls), Explore Green Island 

• Dinner at MurrayStreet. We recommended to order  Smoked beef heart ‘Tartare’. It was very good.

Saturday List of things to do 

• Go get Bagels Breakfast at Kettleman's Bagel Co. This was somehow the highlight of our trip. We were in love with these thin soft sweet salty yummy bagels, so that we ordered 6 different bagels to try. My favorites were "the breakfast bagel" with egg and cheese and "The Super House Special With Cheese". They were exceptional! We could not stop thinking about them for our next day. Well...we went back to get those bagels again the day after for breakfast. LOL

• Walk North along BANK Street (Lots of good local restaurants,bakery shops, boutique and stores) and turn left on Somerset Street to Chinatown

• Walk from Chinatown to Little Italy (The Gate saying Little Italy is on Preston Street between St. Anthony and Young Street.) It is not actually easy to find this gate. 
• Walk along Rideau Canal north and stop by le café for lunch/coffee(nice Canal view)

• Walk back to Major's Hill Park next to Fairmont. We could see the top hill view of the whole city. It was very beautiful.

• Go to dinner later at Fauna

My Short India Trip in August 2015

My trip was from Aug 10th - Aug 13th, 2015

I visited Nomita and her family in New Delhi. 

On streets, there were strayed cows everywhere...Amazing...They were chilling in middle of the roads.

(Street vendors sell fruits everywhere...very colorful..)

We visited Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory.

We visited city palace/Pink City
